A few words from TMTerrain about the March show......as a business and as a hobbiest.

From a business point of view:

This was our forth London Show, celebrating one year involvement in the Toy Soldier market. Mark and I are sure that as a direct result of these London Shows the business has had a very successful  year. We started last year with a six foot stand and this year we have 24 feet and the advanced orders for the weekend were nearly double what we took for the whole show last year.

The shows allow us to show our products and services in their best light and to mix with the collector so we can develop the relationships that are the key to a successful future.

The number of visitors was up considerably from last year. A lot of credit fore this must go to Kand C UK for their organisatonal skill and the ability to make everyone feel at home- the coffee and biscuits on Friday afternoon are wonderful and helps with the atmosphere. We feel you guys look after us and try to make our life as easy as possible and it is much appreciated.

From the collectors point of view:

Not quite the collects point of view as neither Mark or I collect Toy soldiers- we are wargamers first but the mind set is the same.

The show has enough traders to keep a visitor busy all day. The venue is convenient to get to and if you decide to stay the night the hotel is reasonably priced for London.

The variety of traders is superb so you should find what you are looking for. When I get away from the stand I always find something to admire from the wonderful Russian figures to JG’s new terrain, Figarti ships and planes, Britain’s Zulus – the list goes on.

The K and C staff are all friendly and helpful so even a first time visitor shouldn’t have problems finding what they want.

I think it is compulsory for all collectors to get to one of these shows at least once a year. You will see things that amaze you!
